Transparent OLED DisplayCrystal Display Systems Ltd. offers the LucidVue transparent organic LED (TOLED) display.

The displays are available in a 55-in. module and offer a transmittance rate around 45 percent. Self-emissive pixels contain 4 subpixels; red, green and blue generate vibrate colors, and the final subpixel — which would typically be black — is now clear, facilitating transparency.

Polysilicon thin-film transistors act as the switching method for the active matrix of OLED, generating a palette of over 1 billion colors, with a 180° viewing angle in both vertical and horizontal planes.
