BEDFORD, N.H., April 21, 2021 — LASER COMPONENTS’ trichroid thin-film polarizing coating simultaneously separates the polarizations of three wavelengths, and can be used to distinguish between lasers of the same wavelength. The polarizer was designed for an angle of incidence of 45 degrees and exhibits excellent reflection properties for red (640 nm), green (520 nm), and blue (450 nm) light for s-polarization, while p-polarized energy is transmitted with high efficiency. The optic is manufactured and designed according to customer specifications and combines linearly polarized laser beams from several sources of differing wavelengths and separates the unpolarized beams into polarized light simultaneously.
