FARMINGTON, Conn., Oct. 10, 2013 — The TruLaser Cell 3000 five-axis laser machine from Trumpf Inc. cuts and welds 2-D or 3-D components, including nonferrous metals, for high-volume production applications in job shops, automotive subcontracting and medical device manufacturing and many others.

The instrument offers solid-state laser options and up to 8 kW of laser power. Users can match its focal position to the thickness of a specific sheet metal and expand the diameter of the focus during welding operations.
