ELGIN, Ill., Nov. 1, 2016 — Mazak Optonics Corp. has announced the Versatile Company Laser-Tube 100 (VCL-T100), a tube production laser that utilizes direct-diode laser technology.

The laser delivers higher efficiency and reliability than traditional fiber or other solid-state laser generation systems. It is designed as a cost-effective solution for low- to mid-volume tubes up to 4-in. round, 3-in. square and standard lengths up to 12 in.

The VCL-T100 also cuts flat sheets up to 20 x 24 in. and ¼ in. thick.
