Tunable Spectral Calibration SourcesThe SpectrALL series of tunable spectral calibration sources from Labsphere Inc. have been announced by SphereOptics GmbH.

The SpectrALL series includes several models engineered for the high-performance requirements of image sensor production calibration and testing. The models are ideal to calibrate CCD or CMOS cameras, electronic imaging devices, medical endoscopes, ambient light sensors, and more, enabling tests such as luminance responsivity, image validation and correction, uniformity, or flat fielding.

The Spectra-FT fine tunable VIS-NIR spectral calibration sources are highly uniform sources of spectral radiance that can accurately reproduce almost any spectrum from 390 to 1000 nm. The Spectra-FT is being used in the automotive industry to uniformly irradiate imagers and optical sensors. The sources are designed to easily mount in a production test station with active spectral feedback and user recalibration features.
