Tunable Light SourceThe SpectralLED RS-7-2 tunable LED light source from Gamma Scientific is designed for camera and image sensor calibration with a larger output port and increased output uniformity.

The system mates up to four LED light source engines together with a 1-m sphere that includes a 300-mm output port. The calibration light source delivers high brightness, an order of magnitude higher radiometric stability and a wavelength accuracy of 0.25 nm.

The SpectralLED RS-7-2 utilizes a light engine consisting of 35 discrete LEDs, each having a different center wavelength, which can be programed on-demand to reproduce the output of virtually any illuminant source or the spectrum of any illuminant reflected by a target.
