Narrow Linewidth, High Repetition Rate
BOHEMIA, N.Y., Nov. 22 -- Photonics Industries International (PII) announced it has shipped the latest version of its Ti:sapphire, high-repetition-rate, narrow linewidth laser to a major university for atmospheric research.
Approximately the size of a laptop computer, the system features fully tunable wavelength scanning, computer control of the scanning speed and the high repetition rates demanding applications require. The TU-L delivers high-pulse energy of more than 1 mJ/pulse at 1 kHz, while our TU-H delivers high power of more than 1W at 10 kHz in the wavelength range of 700 nm to 1000 nm. With a multipass amplifier, substantially higher pulse energy/or average power can be ordered.
PII's Ti:sapphire series of lasers can be configured in a number of customer-friendly versions with several choices for pump lasers in Nd:YAG, and Nd:YLF platforms. In addition, the complete range of tunability of Ti:sapphire can be extended from 193-500 nm and 700-1000 nm with full computer control of the scanning range in the wavelength range.
These systems can be integrated with features such as single longitudinal mode (SLM), multipass amplifier and second, third or fourth harmonic AutoTracking while the fundamental wavelength is scanning.
Applications include LIDAR, OH reticules concentration measurement, lithography alignment, mass spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy.
