Two-Channel DetectorsThe LRM-102 and LRM-202 two-channel detectors from Infratec GmbH feature an aperture opening of 6 mm2.

The miniaturized devices house their IR filters directly above the detectors’ pyroelectric element, saving space when assembling and improving filter protection against external influences. The layout allows the optical channels to be close together, increases optical performance and provides a greater signal-to-noise distance. An increased field of view results from a reduced distance between the filter and pyroelectric material, as well as a large central window integrated in the cap.

Applications include gas analysis and leakage detection for stationary and mobile devices in medicine and safety technology, among other fields.
