Two-Stage, Cooled IR DetectorsThe BXT2S-38T two-stage cooled IR detector from Opto Diode Corp. is a high-performance, 9-mm² active area device available in a TO8 package with a thermo-electric cooler (TEC) and flat sapphire window.

With a peak sensitivity wavelength between 4.3 and 4.5 µm, the lead selenide device features typical detectivity of 3.5 × 1010 and resistance ranging from 1.0 to 15.0 MΩ. The responsivity is 3.3 × 104 V/W to 5.0 × 104 V/W with a typical response time of 12 µsec.

The B Series IR are ideal for gas analysis and emissions monitoring, process control, and spectroscopy applications.
