WESTBOROUGH, Mass., Jan. 7, 2016 — The Vista VR series of ultrahigh-definition microdisplays from Kopin Corp. allows OEMs to integrate virtual reality (VR) views into consumer products.

Vista VR 720p displays are designed for applications with an intermediate field of view (<50°), such as first-person viewers for drone racing, immersive viewers for entertainment and monitors for dentists. The 720p model features 1280 × 720 active resolution with 920,000 color pixels and 2.8 × 8.4-μm dot pitch.

Vista VR SXGA model displays offers 1280 × 1024 active resolution with 1.3 million color pixels and a 5 × 15-μm dot pitch.
