The USB-Slide II is a small motorized precision linear slide for automated applications. The 9-mm stroke, 1.5-μm per step actuator is powered and controlled solely by a standard USB port. It is supplied with a USB cable and software examples that run on any standard PC with a Windows operating system. This linear slide system provides a method of automated motion control unmatched in size and simplicity, for use in the automated alignment and positioning of beam line components.
