OBERSULM, Germany, Nov. 6, 2015 — USB3 CablesIDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH offers USB3 cables up to 50 m in length for real-time machine vision.

Available in prefabricated lengths of 10, 20, 30 and 50 m, the fiber optic cables have a high transfer rate of up to 5 Gb/s when used with fast imaging sensors such as Sony's IMX174 or On Semiconductor's Python 1300.

The cables are insensitive to electromagnetic interference and are suitable for drag chains, providing a bending radius of 20 mm.
