WOBURN, Mass., April 1, 2014 — IDS Imaging Development Systems’ three new USB 3.0 uEye CP series machine vision cameras offer CCD-quality light sensitivity and four areas of interest for checking several features simultaneously.

Available in housed and board-level versions, the cameras provide a choice of e2v 1.3 MP (available in a NIR-enhanced version), 2 MP and Aptina 5 MP CMOS sensors. The e2v sensors allow switching between various shutter modes to capture sharp images of moving objects or low-noise, high-contrast images.

Video is captured in resolutions up to 2560 × 1920 and a maximum rate of up to 60 fps.
