New Focus™ introduces Model 2923, an IR quadrant cell detector with an amplifier. Quad-cell detectors are ideal for beam stabilization or beam targeting/pointing applications with physically defined center of the detector. The 3-mm-diameter diode is sensitive in the 900- to 1700-nm-wavelength range, and five different input ranges, from 50 μW to 5 mW, can be selected. Both analog and a 16-bit digital USB 2.0 output are available.
