The Picard Industries USB-Shutter offers a compact and simple method of automating the blocking of a beam path. The pivoting-paddle shutter is powered and controlled through a USB port. This provides a self-powered, hot-pluggable method of control unmatched in the industry. Multiple shutter control is possible with an externally powered USB hub. Custom software operates on any standard PC running Windows XP/Vista. LabView drivers and DLL files are provided for integrating the shutter control into your own automation.
