BALDWIN, Mo., Oct. 3, 2018 — The TaraXL, a USB stereo camera from e-con Systems Inc., is optimized for NVIDIA TX2 and GPU cards.

TaraXL's accelerated software development kit, the TaraXL SDK, is capable of completing high-quality 3D depth mapping of WVGA up to 50 fps. The 3D stereo camera is based on MT9V024 stereo sensor from ON Semiconductor. It also plugs in to the USB 3.0 port of the NVIDIA Jetson TX2 Developer Kit.

TaraXL has production-ready hardware and software. The system can be used in applications such as depth sensing, disparity map, point cloud, and more.
