WOONSOCKET, R.I., Mar. 2, 2022 — UV-cure EpoxyThe Flashbond® UV-8403 UV-cure epoxy from EpoxySet Inc. is designed to withstand high-humidity environments.

The material passes 85/85 testing for 1000 hours, 95% humidity tests at 100 °C, as well as continuous soak tests at 65 °C. It features high dielectric properties for use with electronics such as a glob top applications. It also offers bonds to glass, ceramics, metals, and engineered plastics for sealing against adverse environmental conditions. With a Shore D hardness of 78 and a glass transition temperature of 70 °C, it can be used for thermal cycling applications from -55° to 150 °C.

The epoxy can be cured with a 365-nm LED light in 10 to 15 s with an intensity of 150 to 250 mW/cm2. Upon cure, it exhibits a cure shrinkage of <1%. It is available in 3-, 10-, and 30-cc syringes, as well as 8-oz and 1-l bottles.
