GREEN ISLAND, N.Y., May 10, 2016 — Crystal IS now offers the Klaran line of UVC LEDs for disinfection of water, air and surfaces.

The UVC LEDs offer germicidal output powers from 15 to 30 mW for use in health care, lab water and consumer product applications where health and human safety is of primary importance. They feature a nonhazardous, mercury-free, rugged design with no fragile quartz tubes, enabling mobile use cases.

Klaran UVC LEDs can be integrated into lab water purifiers for Type I, II and III water purification, as defined by the American Society for Testing and Materials.
