UV LEDSensor Electronic Technology Inc. (SETI) has announced the SS35DF227513 high-power, 275-nm surface mount technology LED for water sterilization, medical and analytical instrumentation, and biochemical analysis.

The device delivers 30 mW of optical power at 350 mA and 10 mW at 100 mA. The package has been redesigned with low thermal resistance to accommodate high operating powers.

Applications include use in the health care, life sciences, environmental, military and disinfection fields.
