BOZEMAN, Mont., Feb. 11, 2015 — Quantel Laser EverGreenQuantel Laser has announced its EverGreen laser designed for combined particle image velocimetry (PIV) and laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) experiments.

The 266-nm extension of the laser enables users to image in the UV, facilitating precise measurements of velocity and density fields for certain combustion experiments difficult to accurately measure with traditional techniques.

The laser offers double pulse operation at 15 Hz and 30 mJ of 266-nm per pulse.
