CAMARILLO, Calif., Aug. 20, 2015 — Opto Diode UVG12 The UVG12 photodiode from Opto Diode Corp. operates at 100 percent internal quantum efficiency in the UV and visible regions.

The 13-mm2 device was designed for detection between 193 and 400 nm and features responsivity of 254 nm. Minimum responsivity is 0.105 A/W.

Extremely stable, the photodiode exhibits less than a 2 percent drop in responsivity after exposure to several megajoules per square centimeter of 254-nm light. The photodiodes are suitable for laser power monitoring, photolithography and other high-power-density applications using UV light.
