ANDOVER, Mass., July 19, 2019 — UV Q-Switched LaserThe Spectra-Physics Explorer One HP 355-6 from MKS Instruments Inc. is a UV version of its high-power Q-switched laser.

Providing >6 W of UV power with repetition rates from single-shot up to 500 kHz, the laser features dynamic pulse energy and power control for precision micromachining in consumer electronics applications including OLED display and mobile device manufacturing.

With high-quality beam characteristics and stability, the Explorer One HP 355-6 delivers high throughput and contrast for marking-on-the-fly results in the medical device and consumer packaging industries.
