Suited for working with small gels and samples, the new Slimline Series UV transilluminator from Spectronics Corp. is designed to minimize UV exposure for lab technicians.

A UV filter glass measuring 11 × 14 cm inhibits solarization up to 50 times longer than traditional UV filters. A diffusing screen facilitates light distribution and eliminates striations caused by the contours of the device’s four 8-W UV tubes.

The transilluminator is available in 254-, 312- and 365-nm wavelengths, as well as 120 V/60 Hz, 240 V/50 Hz and 100 V/50-60 Hz.
