The Model 248/310 XUV spectrometer from McPherson Inc. works from 1 to 200 nm. With vacuum-tight seals for the 10–6 t vacuum region, the spectrometer optionally can be prepared for use in the ultrahigh-vacuum regime. It has a wavelength reproducibility of 0.01 nm, and it uses glancing angles between 85° and 88° to maintain good throughput efficiency in the extreme-UV. It is used to measure attosecond laser pulses and related molecular dynamics.
