Scientists can select from eight snap-on camera adapters, enabling the systems to be used with 35-mm single-lens reflex cameras or with seven types of Polaroid cameras. The instruments have applications in areas such as chromatography, electrophoresis, genetic research, photoresist coating inspection and forensic science.
