Ultrafast oscillators

Femtolasers.jpgFemtolasers Produktions GmbH has introduced the Fusion series ultrafast Ti:sapphire oscillators for seeding amplifier chains, multiphoton excitation, time-resolved spectroscopy and terahertz generation. They measure a compact 720 × 305 × 75 mm and use patented dispersive mirror technology to compensate for dispersion. Most of the oscillators operate with <10-fs pulse duration, and Fusion 20 models deliver <20 fs. Models are available with average output powers ranging from 100 to 800 mW and up to 1 MW of peak power. An extra module inside the oscillator provides precise control over dispersion.
