DUISBURG, Germany, March 17, 2016 — Ultrahigh-Speed Video CameraShimadzu Europa GmbH has announced the HPV-X2 ultrahigh-speed video camera, enabling applications in the aerospace, explosion visualization, cavitation, electrical discharge and advanced medical fields.

The camera enables 10 million-fps cyperspeed recording, with a 10× higher sensitivity than other cameras in its class. Long recording times are featured through extended frame capacity.

The camera provides a 3D perspective based on synchronized recording using two cameras simultaneously from different angles.
