Universal Filter WheelThe USFW-100 motor-driven universal filter wheel from Oriel Instruments (part of Newport Corp.) features high rotation speeds for fast scans.

The filter wheel is compatible with all Oriel monochromators and spectrographs and can be used as a standalone model. The motorized wheel can hold up to six 1-in.-diameter filters with software- or push-button-selectable active filter positioning. Precision stepper motor control positions the chosen filter into the light paths. Flange mounting of the filters provides a seal against background light.

Applications include automated applications such as radiometry, color CCD photography and fluorescence microscopy.
