HAMBURG, Germany, March 22, 2016 — Upright MicroscopeThe modular BX3M upright microscope series from Olympus Europa SE & Co. KG includes advanced illumination modes for in-depth and efficient analysis.

The BX3M is designed to enhance industrial inspection tasks, especially for failure analysis of complex samples. To enable faster topographic and defect analysis, directional darkfield is made possible through segmented LED illumination, which provides flexible illumination from different angles.

Switching between standard observation modes is achieved by simply turning a dial, with easily adjustable aperture settings.
