MERCERVILLE, N.J., Feb. 19, 2015 — Princeton Optronics VCSEL array linear heaterPrinceton Optronics Inc. has announced new vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) array linear heaters for printing and additive manufacturing.

They offer 4 kW CW output from multiple 5 × 5-mm VCSEL arrays. Systems are available for 808-, 976- and 1064-nm wavelengths.

The product is suitable for making meter-long line generators for a range of industrial applications.
