VEUREY-VOROIZE, France, April 24, 2019 — VGA Thermal Image SensorThe Atto640 from ULIS is a video graphic array (VGA) format, 12-µm thermal image sensor for market applications that must meet size, weight, and power reduction requirements.

Wafer-level packaging technology, in which the detector window is directly bonded to the wafer, enables a significant reduction in the overall dimension of the sensor. Atto640’s footprint is half the size of the company’s Pico640-046 17-µm model.

Applications include commercial and defense applications such as thermal weapon sights, surveillance, hand-held thermography cameras, personal vision systems, outdoor leisure, law enforcement, and border control.
