VIBRATION ISOLATION The 9100 series vibration isolation workstations from Kinetic Systems Inc. have active air suspension and can be used in semiconductor processing, telecommunications, aerospace engineering and medical research. Tabletops from 24 × 36 and 36 × 72 in. come in lightweight honeycomb or composite. Models are available with either 800- or 1300-lb load capacity, and all are Class 100-cleanroom-compatible, with Class 10 offered as an option. Other options include Faraday cages to protect against electromagnetic interference, oversized keyboard and overhead equipment shelves, monitor stands, nonisolated sliding shelves, electrical outlet strips, guardrails, padded armrests and retractable casters.
