Halcyonics.jpgMade for compact scanning probe microscopes, Halcyonics GmbH’s Nano 20 is an active vibration isolation system that measures 204 × 204 × 69 mm and features active vibration isolation in all six degrees of freedom. The isolation effect begins at 0.6 Hz and reaches more than 99% over 10 Hz. The system weighs 5.6 kg and is easy to set up, requiring no adjustment or tuning before use. The operator sets the atomic force microscope on it, attaches the cables, pulls the transport lock buttons and turns on the system.
