LYON, France, Sept. 17, 2020 — Variable Focus Liquid LensThe A-58N variable focus liquid lens from Corning Inc. is a large, clear aperture lens for scientific and optical instrumentation, life sciences, ophthalmology, and microscopy.

The lens features 15 diopters of dynamic range, a 7-cm focus ability, and the same low power consumption, high shock resistance, and fast-focus ability of its predecessors. The A-58N lens features a large dynamic range and a low wavefront error without compromising on the form factor or ease of integration. The device allows variable focus without moving parts or heat generation at lens level.

The A-58N variable focus lens is well suited for industrial vision and optical equipment.
