CORNING, N.Y., April 21, 2021 — Varioptic AF Explorer KitCorning’s® Varioptic® AF Explorer kit consists of several PCB boards with associated software, a USB camera system allowing straightforward evaluation of Corning liquid lens products. The main structure is based on an image signal processor, a Cypress EX-USB® CX3 USB 3.0 chip, an image sensor board, an integrated ToF sensor for distance measurement, lighting options including white, blue, and NIR LEDs, and AFLab Software to control basic sensor settings, AF mode selection, AF Algorithm, and more. The kit is designed for the evaluation and study of liquid lenses to determine their use value for specific functions.
