VAN NUYS, Calif., May 19, 2020 — Ventilator Voice Coil ActuatorsMoticont has announced three lines of linear voice coil actuators that are ideally suited for medical ventilators, respirators, and the dispensing of reagents.

The GVCM, SDLM, and DDLM series of actuators feature a guided shaft that is designed to couple directly to the load, preventing any backlash. Being low cost, clean, brushless, and compact, the actuators are critical for life support equipment with high efficiency, low mean-time-between-failures (MTBF), and low hysteresis for greater repeatability. They also feature high controllable force, stroke length, and speed. With low noise or maintenance, the actuators can be easily integrated into new or existing applications.

The GVCM and DDLM lines can be used with a position sensor. The SDLM line has an integral encoder.
