HAIFA, Israel, Nov. 30, 2016 — Virtual Emergency Training SystemThe Emergency Scenarios Virtual Reality Trainer from Elbit Systems Ltd. is a virtual reality-based simulation trainer, providing a realistic 3D virtual environment for training emergency response teams to deal with a range of minor and serious emergency situations.

Simulated emergency scenarios include ballistic missiles falling on an urban area, earthquake and disaster response, search-and-rescue operations and more. Virtual reality goggles allow users to virtually experience emergency scenarios as if they were part of an emergency response team and respond to challenging situations involving search and rescue of injured persons.

The trainer further enhances simulation training capabilities and meets the evolving preparedness needs of military and civilian forces in emergency situations.
