Visible SWIR CameraRaptor Photonics Ltd. has announced the OWL 1280 visible SWIR camera for high-definition, high-end, long-range surveillance, scientific and astronomy applications.

Using a cooled 1280 x 1024-InGaAs sensor, the OWL 1280 offers visible extension from 0.4 to 1.7µm, enabling high-sensitivity imaging. The 10 x 10-µm pixel pitch enables high-resolution imaging. The camera also offers 2 x 2 binning to become 640 x 512, 20-µm pitch for ultimate low-light vision and high-speed applications. A less than 35-electron readout noise and a low dark current reading are included.

The camera features an ultra-high intrascene dynamic range of 70 dB, enabling simultaneous capture of bright and dark scene portions.
