A range of visible wavelength fiber coupled acousto-optic modulators from Gooch & Housego offer performance in microscopy and instrumentation applications.

The devices demonstrate high PER and low insertion loss, using qualified processes and industry standard Te02 cells. Optimized PM or SM visible fibers are used, with Fiber-Q’s available from 450 nm to 2 µm.

Fluorescence microscopy, confocal microscopy, imaging and spectroscopy are the primary applications for instruments requiring visible Fiber-Qs.
