Cognex Corp.’s Advantage 100 vision system enables OEMs to use the company’s vision and code-reading technology in space-constrained applications including the printing, kiosk and medical device industries.

Measuring 23 × 44 × 54 mm, the camera is designed for integration into OEMs’ large automated clinical diagnostic systems. Its modular optics offer a wide field of view and working-distance alternatives, and its advanced lighting provides built-in illumination plus optional add-on illumination. Ethernet or RS-232 communication ensures simplified integration flexibility.

The device includes easy-to-use application software to quickly test and develop the vision and ID tools needed for specific requirements.
