The GVCM-051-127-01 Linear Voice Coil Motor from Moticont is a linear, direct current motor with internal shaft and bearing.
The 3.75-in. stroke of the precision-ground, 6-mm diameter shaft with an internal thread is guided by a long-lasting plain bearing that allows side loads up to 1 lb. The housing and coil ends of the motor have threaded mounting holes in the housing and coil ends for easy integration into existing and future applications. This brushless voice coil actuator features high speed, high acceleration and deceleration, zero backlash, high accuracy, high repeatability, and a high force to size ratio of 5.0 lbs of continuous force and 15.8 lbs of peak force in either direction.
Applications include assembly and sorting equipment, work holding and clamping, medical devices, wafer handling, optical focusing, antenna positioning, testing, slide actuators, shutters, doors and valve actuation.
