IQD Frequency Products’ IVCO-100 series voltage-controlled oscillators are suited for applications including test and measurement, satellite communications, telecommunications and digital mobile radio.

The models, IVCO-110, -120 and-130, provide frequencies from 50 MHz to 6 GHz, offer phase noise at the 10- and 100-KHz frequency offsets and deliver linear frequency tuning with immunity to voltage supply and output load variations. Housed in a surface-mountable 12.7 × 12.7 × 4-mm package, each model operates over the temperature range of –40 to 85 °C. Output is typically 5 dBm into 50 O.

The oscillators use a high-Q low-loss coaxial resonator for applications requiring an ultrastable local oscillator source where a narrowband design is needed. This variant delivers phase noise performance, harmonic suppression and high immunity to load pulling and voltage pushing from 665 to 685 MHz.

The IVCO-110 is optimized for performance from 825 to 930 MHz, while the IVCO-120 offers –90 dBc/Hz phase noise at a 10-KHz offset from 4400 to 4800 MHz. The IVCO-130 delivers up to 6 GHz, with a typical phase noise of –90 dBc/Hz at 10-KHz offset across an operating band of 5500 to 5815 MHz.
