Agilent Technologies Inc. has introduced two function/arbitrary waveform generators, the 33521A one-channel and the 33522A two-channel. Both deliver low jitter and low total harmonic distortion for challenging measurement applications and feature USB and LAN for easy connectivity. Their large graphical display allows for simultaneous parameter setup, signal viewing and editing. The generators also offer more precise functions and true point-by-point arbitrary waveforms that are alias-protected for more accurate representation of user-defined signals. They feature full-bandwidth pulses; 30-MHz sine, square and pulse waveform bandwidth to cover more applications; <40-ps jitter and total harmonic distortion of 0.04% for greater signal fidelity; and a 16-bit sampling rate for higher time-resolution arbitrary waveforms.
