The Shack-Hartmann WaveSensor wavefront sensors made by Trioptics GmbH measure the wavefront and lens shape of spherical and aspherical lenses in real time. High accuracy and a large dynamic range of up to >1500 λ allow the measurement of highly aspherical lenses. All four models exhibit tilt measurement sensitivity of <1 μrad, repeatability of <λ/200 rms and absolute accuracy of <λ/20 rms. All measure <74 x 100 x 144 mm and operate over a wavelength range of 350 to 1100 nm. The 150 model has aperture dimensions of 15 x 15 mm, 150 x 150 lenslets and a focus dynamic range of >1500 λ, and it weighs <1000 g. The comprehensive software supplied with the sensors provides various ways of analyzing and displaying the wavefront data, including real-time Zernike analysis, modulation transfer function and point spread function calculation.
