Operating at 1064 nm, the Wedge emits 1.5mJ of pulse energy at ≤1kHz with 1.5 nsec pulses for 1 MW of peak power. Based on a proprietary electro-optic Q-switch, this compact, air-cooled, diode-pumped laser is insensitive to vibrations and harsh environments. The laser, at .18 cubic ft, is ideal for specialty marking, spectroscopy, lidar, bathymetry, medical and many other applications. Replacement laser diodes can be installed in minutes, about as easily as changing film in a camera, the company said. Optional harmonics are available in 532 nm and 355 nm.
