MARLBOROUGH, Mass., Dec. 18, 2017 — The DeltaVision Ultra Imaging System from General Electric Healthcare Life Sciences is equipped with a high-resolution widefield microscope, a customized workstation, a monitor and software needed for automated live-cell imaging and analysis.

The system's components were specifically designed to work together, so even novice users can acquire quality images for a wide variety of biological applications with minimal training. Intuitive software automatically visualizes and analyzes acquired data with the capability for multi-well tracking to characterize trends across an entire cell population simultaneously.

An exclusive deconvolution method removes light interference from the image to reveal details not normally perceptible by widefield microscopes. It features the ability to capture dynamic cellular or subcellular processes up to 50 μm beyond the surface of the coverslip from multiple samples at once.
