HAMAMATSU CITY, Japan, July 2, 2020 — X-Ray Time Delay Integration CameraThe C15400-30-50A x-ray Time Delay Integration (TDI) camera from Hamamatsu Photonics features enhanced sensitivity and low-energy x-rays for in-line nondestructive inspection of thin objects and light-element materials.

The camera gives sharp, high-contrast images of items such as thin aluminum sheets and carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), and is designed to improve the accuracy of food and industrial product inspection. A high-performance photodetector developed in-house has boosted the signal readout speed to 1.8 × the ordinary speed. The camera can also simultaneously inspect for contaminants in objects containing multiple materials.
