SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Dec. 23, 2019 — XY Positioning StageThe VCS02-005-BS-01-MXYTh low-profile XY Theta Stage from H2W Technologies Inc. is a high-acceleration, voice-coil-driven positioning stage with a precision bearing system.

Minimizing the amount of pitch, yaw, and roll in the system, the voice coil stage is a closed-loop system that can be used for positioning applications that require a limited rotation theta stage integrated. The stage utilizes a custom low-profile design with an electromagnetic circuit design. The motor has a two-axis planar coil assembly that interacts with a common magnetic circuit.

The circuit design allows for a minimal overall height of 2.93 in. Each linear axis has a 0.23-in. stroke and generates 0.50 lbs of continuous force with 1.50 lbs of peak force.
