VAN NUYS, Calif., Mar. 7, 2022 — XZR Positioning StagesBuilt-to-order XZR positioning stages from Optimal Engineering Systems Inc. can be used for laser scanning, machining and drilling, alignment, mirror positioning, inspection, and testing.

Users can select from a combination of linear stages with travel lengths of 15, 30, 50, and 75 mm for the X and Z axes that feature high precision 1-mm/turn lead screws. For the rotary axis, a 60- or 100-mm diameter rotary table are available. The X and Z axes feature positional accuracy of 10 μm and repeatability of 5 μm.

Four motor options provide stepper motor-driven axes, three-phase servo motor driven axes with quadrature incremental optical encoders, direct-current servo motor-driven axes with quadrature incremental optical encoders, or stepper motor-driven axes with quadrature optical encoders for position verification.
