Teledyne Dalsa Inc. has added the Xineos-1515 CMOS x-ray detector to its flat detector series for clinical fixed and mobile applications such as C-arms, fluoroscopy and 3-D orthopedic imaging systems.

The single-detector imaging technology for high-speed, low-dose medical diagnostics offers 99-µm pixel resolution and a switchable saturation dose, allowing technicians to choose between high sensitivity and extended dynamic range. The extended field of view allows surgical teams a more comprehensive overview of the operating scene. The detector provides real-time (30 fps) imaging without forced air or liquid coolers.
